Roopena take on West

Roopena take on an undefeated West Whyalla this Friday night at Bennett Oval in what should be a very exciting game.
Both clubs have a good blend of experience and an abundance of youth, which will ensure the pace of the game will be hot and, hopefully, a great spectacle.
The Roos, at the moment , are playing a very accountable brand of football.
Their on-ballers do work well together.
Burgess is having a steller season thus far. Manfield's form, whether on the ball or up forward, has been excellent. Fiebig rarely has a bad one and young guy Elliot has been a real surprise. His mobility and work rate around the packs is so important for the Roos.
New recruit Cook, with his quiet efficient possession rate, adds to the effectiveness of this group also.
Down back Kane Grund is in good touch, and the form of Brereton across half back last week was full of run, as was Ewings.
In the forward line Williams, Boddinner and Hannaman will give any backline a headache if not kept in check.
The Roos can go into this game confident but will have to be on their mettle to take it up to this hard running Dragon side.
West's backline have been great, only conceding 122 points, superbly led by Stix Manfield.
Their midfield are excellent on the break all over the ground. Their pace is great and they have enough quality talls to control the air and rucking contests - not to mention their band of youngsters.
West will go in as favourites in what will be a very interesting contest.
