ANZ Stadium last night sought assurances from Wests Tigers that the club had not signed a deal to move home matches to the SCG and the SFS.
Wests Tigers chief executive Steve Noyce met SCG Trust chief executive Jamie Barclay last week but both denied an agreement had been made. Speculation has been rife that the club was on the verge of moving four matches to the SFS next year from ANZ Stadium - for possibly as long as five years - and the NRL had been central to the negotiations.
"But I can assure that no deal has been done," Noyce insisted last night.
Six matches are set to be played at Leichhardt and Campbelltown, with the SCG Trust and ANZ Stadium eager to secure the Tigers' remaining home matches.
