Welcome back Jenna, just what we need a new editor of our local paper that doesn’t get both sides of the story before making comment.

I think you need to take a nice walk down the City Plaza and have a real good look at some shops that are down here.

In the past three years that you have been away alot of money has been spent in the Plaza, not only by council.

Sure some shops are in need of attention but they are a minority compared to the time, money and effort that has gone into a majority of shops.

Bold new signage, brightly painted shops, new rendered buildings and lets not forget the redevelopment that is going on at the moment.

There also will be some new businesses opening in the Plaza soon.

In these times of high interest rates and fuel prices and consumers having to tighten their belts we should be positive and give credit where credit is due.

Take a step outside of your office and have a good look at the building you are in before passing comment on others.
